SOLD - WTS or WTT: 1961 Gibson ES330TD Ebony Refin
The guitar has been refinished by Jerome of AN'G LUTHERIE in France, it
is an old school Ebony nitro over White nitro that has started to check
nicely.
The bridge saddles, the tailpiece and the trussrod cover are not original.
The tuners are not original either, but they are from early '60s, basically the same model as originals, but with metal buttons instead of plastic ones.
The knobs are not original, but at least 3 of them are vintage.
The pickups are original.
The pots and caps were replaced. Original pots and one of the caps are included.
The strap buttons are original, but one was moved from behind the neck heel to the upper horn.
The pickguard is sadly missing.
The case is not in the best condition but original. The guitar can be shipped in a 1962 Epiphone case in an excellent condition if you wish.
It has been partially refretted (the first 12 frets). The new fret wire is actually a bit thinner than the originals. All the fret nibs are there.
The serial number is 5484.
Might be interested in trades for other guitars.
Would sell for £3000.
