Who would be the current recommended UK amp builders for an 18 Watt Marshall clone?

MJW stuff looks good. I think he can make you pretty much whatever you ask for.
His amps seem very well priced for what they are.

Yes another great builder and options. Although his build times are getting quite long now I believe. It wouldn't stop me buying from him either though because of it

Interestingly, I've just added a Reverb version of my Plexi 18, alongside the TMB and Tremolo models.

Martin isn't taking new commissions at this moment in time so he can catch up with his back log.

If you speak to Project Music in Exeter they have a Rift Plexi 18 they want shot of - a good deal could be had.

What's wrong with the genuine Marshall? There's 2 for sale I think on here and I love mine.

Can't beat hand wired amps for ease of servicing and to support uk amp builders who put a little of themselves in each amp. Not meant to sound like sales bullshit but I would trust a hand built amp from a reputable builder than I would from a marshall factory nowadays

Pleased to see Eli Abbott getting a mention here, great guy and great service. He will do a head or combo version and his pricing is very good. My 18watt TMB that he built is the first amp I've considered a keeper.

Actually after I said that, I made a deal to buy MtBs Ceriatone/Ampmaker clone combo. I'm sure I'll be fiddling with it a bit though as I've still got some old mustard caps & bits from builds i did some years ago.
