So a few of you may have noticed I occasionally sell amps in the forum - usually random things I've made. I sometimes even manage to sell them ...
Anyway, here's my first "proper" amp build - a commission for a long time customer who's got a fair few of my pedals.
It's based on a Marshall 18 watt single-channel TMB - with the addition of a VVR control - so you can reduce the amp's wattage for cranked Marshall tones at bedroom-friendly levels.
I've gone old-school with the styling. I built and tolexed the cab and the face plate and rear plate were engraved by
@Modulus_Amps who's done a great job!
Here are some pics:
I also rehoused his JTM30 combo into a compact head ...
And built an ABY box so he can use both amps at the same time ...

The logo plate looks great as well.
Also, I must be one of the few people who used to have a JTM30 (though combo) and it didn't blow up! Really quite liked mine....
I'm a massive fan of the ac15 circuit you did that I wound up buying. I even quite like looking at the insides, such a tidy job.
I've had to slap my own hand a few times for almost getting that too.
not sure the family will be too pleased if I spend all my Christmas budget on guitar gear... again
