I'm looking for a stand case, like one of the below, ideally for 6 guitars.

I recently bought a Spider rack/case from flightcasewarehouse (think it's the one in your pic above) and it's a decent bit of kit, heavy and solid. They're only about £70 new and the chances of a used one coming up much cheaper are probably slim...

Indeed, although the small print says Stagg and I believe the Stagg one is different plus it costs £110 from GAK!

@FelineGuitars only OK? Are there any issues with them? I just figured it's an easier option to house guitars with a nitro finish, rather than trying to cover all the foam on my current rack.

How much space is there between guitars? No issues with trems etc pushing into the back of the next guitar?

I've got a Stagg one and like you had to wait quite a while for one to pop up at a good price.
As Jonathan said they're ok - once they're up they're solid, but essentially 3 bits of covered plywood wedged together in a box - I'd never pay full whack for one.

In terms of space between guitars it depends what you put in it and yes you do need to think about what order you put them in as a Floyd or other trem equipped guitar hastily removed could very easily ding the guitar next to it which is why in the pic below my Axis was safely at the far end where it could do no damage!

Good score. I paid £63 with free shipping for my Spider one, on a Black Friday deal - they're probably exactly the same and all made in the same factory in China.

How did you guys get the guitars to sit right? Did you velcro the dividers on the bottom?

I haven't used it yet, I'm supposed to be waiting for Crimbo... What's the problem?

Certain guitars just don't want to sit right, I'm not sure whether to have them upright, or angled towards the back - they seem to pivot on either the strap button or the resting point of the guitar.

I have a 335 style Semi, and it wants to keep sliding at and angle, and a Strat that wants to do the same...

Just for reference K&M make "Translucent" stands that are suitable for nitro guitars.

Yup definitely angled towards the back and I place the dividers equidistant in the bottom.
