Louis electric buster

Just wondered if anyone has tried the Louis Electric Buster and what they thought of it? 

My head is just saying oh it's just another 5e3 clone but my gut is saying different and need to scratch that itch and ask. I could of course go to coda but that's a long way for me to go just for a demo so thought I'd start here etc. I'll eventually go to coda no doubt if the itching gets bad though

He does, but I think he's played most of em..

Great hopefully he'll be along sometime. That 4k/8k option sounds very interesting i.e. lowers it by 5 watts apparently. Doesn't sound much but is it when playing it? I gather the Buster will still have the volume knob tapering issue that all 5e3 style amps have i.e. nothing at 1 but everything almost at 2/2.5

The Tornado sounds pretty cool too. Ooooh I am so nearly thinking of selling my Tone King Imperial MKII

It's all in the volume taper and pre amp stage. Don't mater if it's 5,10,20,40 watts.

What do you mean @Zoolooter ? Is that good or bad ?

Meaning that some amps that are 5 or 40 play more or less the same at low volume. It's a good thing!
