Mrs Fab has lost her phone. I suspect it may be gone forever because a) location services are turned off on it and b) there's no tracking app installed.
I can log into Google as her and use their tracking system, which is talking to the phone, says it's online, but can't give me any clue as to it's location. I can make it ring (tried that), lock it or wipe it, I can even install apps on it from my laptop through Google Play.
I can't find any tracking app that will work without someone agreeing on the phone itself. There is that option for older versions of Android with "Android Lost", but it doesn't with with Lollipop upwards (hers is).
It's so frustrating as Google can talk to it right now, so the battery is hanging on for the moment, but it's going to die soon, so time is running out.
Can anyone suggest an app or something I can do to locate it before it dies?
Ta.
Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine.

Oh wait...
Also when you get it back you can make Android Device Manager an Administrator and then it can then the GPS on itself.
If yes it might well be on your local wifi network.
Should've gone to Specsavers
Text it so that it shows on the lock screen then just wait to avoid further battery drain. Text 'help, I'm lost please call *************'.
