Thanks for the offers everyone but I've made a decision and bought an amp this afternoon. The rest of the money has been put into my mortgage to stop me buying all your lovely amps so further temptation has been removed.

I bought new in the end, inspired by a amp mentioned in one of the threads posted above (but it's not the amp that was for sale). It'll be at work tomorrow as will the guitar I bought so I'll post some pics then.

Wow that's the exact amp I'm after. 6L6 or 6V6?

Well I'm sorry mate, now I feel quite guilty At least you can get up to something more productive on Saturday and I can demo it for you and let you know what I think

Please do. I'm still going though to try out the 6V6 which is also sold but they'll wont have shipped it yet

It's just slipped a bit in transit, as I said I'm at work and just took a quick photo for you lot so not had chance to really play it/set it up, it'll be sorted when I get home

....And sorted, at the risk of getting fired I've just fixed it at my desk. I think actually the photo made it look worse than it was, it looks far more skewed than it actually was
