Was looking forward to hearing these and I'm not disappointed.  @Teetonetal you weren't kidding about Brian May!  Can't wait to hear more contributions.

What I love about these so far are the wildly different approaches.  At the same point in the backing track (at the start of the second chorus), I'm emoting on the same note for for four bars, and @Teetonetal is going mad with double tracking and a really fast lick.  Such a diverse contrast, but if I may say so they both sound great.

Lol It's the great thing about this thread though isn't it? - i love seeing how we all treated it and sometimes there is such range. Since this has been running, there has also been plenty of stunning playing.

That's why I like to get them in early listening to others before recording is the creative kiss of death for me.

Unfortunately I couldn't stop myself and had a listen and the bar has certainly been raised this time. Great stuff all round.

Import the MP3 into Cubase.

Dragged the backing track into Reaper.
Used S-Gear 2 as the ampsim for the guitar solo track.
Did a solo, then came back to it after a few days with fresh ears and replaced three sections I wasn't completely happy with. 
 Rendered the tracks to an mp3 from Reaper.
