This is an original Fender Road Worn model which has had a little home use and a couple of quality upgrades. These upgrades have been carried out professionally and include:

- an MIM Fender 60s Telecaster vintage re-issue neck with rosewood board (replaces the thinner, soft-V, maple-board original);
- Cavalier Bengal Tiger SRV Trio classic vintage strat pickups;
- a fully shielded Fender tortoise shell scratchplate;
- the second tone control wired as a volume control for the neck pickup (allowing it to be blended into the first and second positions, giving neck & bridge together or all three pickups together)
- a full pro setup including the trem cavity being blocked off.

A fantastic looking, playing and sounding guitar which is equally as good, if not better than many more expensive models.

Who did the work to fit the neck? Presume it's been reshaped if it's a 60s MIM?

The guitar was expertly put together by a local Northern Ireland luthier by the name of Pete Griffin. Pete's own Tele-style builds have a very high reputation and his set-up and repair work is always in demand.
