Small NAD

What's Hot
replica of a 50's tweed champ. Mate had it for a couple of years, then let me have a go, loved it but he wouldn't sell it until now.
Pics tomorrow!

  • Excellent - the kind of behaviour of someone who intends to keep playing, I hope!

Perfect slide amp too… thinking about what you said in the other thread.

To do it best, select HTML mode - the </> button on the right above the text box - then paste in this:

    <a href="http://imgur.com/*******"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/*******.jpg" title="source: imgur.com"></a>

With both ******* replaced by the 7-figure image code and the spaces removed (copy that code line and store it somewhere), then deselect HMTL and carry on as normal.

A little more complex than just cut and paste, but that will produce a code which will display the image correctly on any format, computer or mobile.

    (Thanks to RaymondLin for this.)

  • Well had a chance to practice today, just sit and plug in to Champ and play. Mrs out shopping so decided to whack it up a bit, but that's not what this amp is about. It's so responsive, found myself leaving amp on about 6 and nice fat old tone.
The amount of compression at first is quite a shock but using vol and tone on guitar, really brings out the best in these amps. I can see how Clapton used one for so many great recordings.
This is only a replica, so god knows how good the real champs are, but I love this to bits.
May even gig it NYE just for slide alone.
