WTB: Explorer (+/- £200)

My son's looking for an Explorer, probably Epiphone but may consider others. It must be a set neck model and he prefers the traditional non-trem designs. Budget is around £200 and it needs to be within an hour or so of Nottingham or available for posting.

He had a go on a Gibbo today which confirmed it's an Explorer he wants, but he was about £1k short, so any Epis out there? Other makes also considered....

A bit left of field, but I had a go on one of THESE the other day. My mate's lad had got one for £90 off gumtree and it sounded and played really nicely. Meant to be mahogany, fixed neck, pickups sounded decent enough, and fretwork was good (though as second-hand could have been fettled previously)

Not sure I'd buy new, but I'd certainly get one second-hand if I found one.

i've got an Epiphone Gothic 1958 Explorer which is splendid (and has a kill switch on the tone knob!). could probably pick one up for around £200 S/H.
