I worked with a guy who wore them all year round, rain, snow and ice, you name it without fail. He had a long walk there too. He was kind of proud of it I think, but one thing was notable, he was off sick for at least 3 weeks a year!

Says it all mate. Anyone who wears them over the age of 5 needs a stern word. Hideous, seriously unstylish. I mean come on - rubber cumbersome ugly, holey clogs. Just why?

You really shouldn't judge people by their dress, but in the case of crocs I happily make a massive exception.

My mum wears crocs because she has had bowel cancer and bending at the hip is very painful for her.
She can kick them on and off more easily than anything else.

  • I wear them all year unless I have to wear long trousers for work.

they are more comfortable and the cold does not bother me.

My father ( who'd be 90 now if he were still alive) used to explain that it was normal for boys to be in shorts all year round until they left school. His first job was in a foundry and he didn't have any long trousers so went in shorts and burned his legs. Not much of a health and safety culture in pre WW II Tipton apparently.

Tipton is a small fishing village in the borough of Sandwell.

My legs are so sexy that it would feel wrong and selfish to not share them with the world.

Also, living in Scotland, it is regularly pishing down, and wet legs are infinitely better than wet jeans.

I know short guys that wear chaps all year, so live and let live is what I say.

I have no problem with shorts worn all year round. The problem I have, at any time of year, is with trorts. Neither trouser, nor short, they straddle the two and scream "Fucking shit". There is not, and never will be, a suitable excuse for wearing such a garment.

P.S. women can wear trorts, especially if they have a nice arse, and in this special case they are known as "Capri".
