Yes, we put ours away today, now the long, grey, dark and dull month of January, but each day gets a little lighter. C'mon the Spring time!

The tradition of waiting until 12th night seems to be dying out.  When I was a kid the decorations went up around Christmas Eve and came down on the 6th.  Now I see trees in neighbours windows from early December, but they start coming down earlier.  I suppose they've had 3 more weeks to get fed up of them.

The only trace of Christmas left is the  last few specs of glitter that take until February to hoover up. I'm not sad to see it go
