Everything is pointing to the reberb recovery stage, I think.

Does turning the reverb down stop the oscillation?

Do you get the oscillation if you pull the reverb recovery valve? (I'm guessing that the other half is shared with the tremolo, so the amp should still work).

If the answers are 'yes' and 'no' then I strongly suspect that the reverb recovery valve has gone microphonic, and it would be worth trying a few different ones.

Incidentally, do you have a foot-switch plugged in for the reverb?
