1x 16ohm Neo Blackstar G12-NV70 £50 delivered.

These are custom made for Blackstar to go with their Series one amps. To me they sound a lot like greenbacks, quite vintage British sounding. They are of course ridiculously light. I have used these in a 2x12 cab live and the sound brilliant. I just prefer the neo creamback mixed with a Century Vintage neo.


If you have a 2x12 combo save your back a buy a couple!

Prices are posted to the UK and assume PPG. Knock a fiver of if collecting from Huntingdon, Cambs.

If you have a listen to some Blackstar Series One 45 vids on youtube that will give you an idea (just make sure they are using the neo speakers obviously) also the link below is a review of the 45 and they are impressed with the speakers.

I think they are a bit more forgiving that V30's but still tight sounding enough for modern music. Happy to do a deal if you collect by the way.

what sort of cab is it? sorry to be a pain but do you know the combined weight of the cab and neo's, ? just wondering if its going to be significant weight saving with what ive already got

Speakers back out of the cab so £50 each delivered. They are very good speakers, just not as good as the Cream neos for what I want.

@photek do you have any pics/more info? Very interested! Any idea where they are made, or what they are derived from? Google shows little!

I emailed Celestion about them and the response was they were made for the Blackstar Series One amps, they are not rebadged version of an existing model. Not as fierce as V30's plus they are woodier sounding to me, in the ballpark of Greenbacks but with a bit more of everything.
