Apparently so, although this is meant to be blue and I saw one in GG Epsom that was very purple so maybe it happened in the factory.

As I've mentioned before a lot of them are very purple from the factory. I haven't actually seen one that looks like the picture out of 5 of them. That's why I got mine in 'Midnight Ebony' which is actually a grey.
They are great guitars though. Won't compete with a proper Gibson but several features take it way above your usual Epi LP Standard.
The other thing about these are that they are very consistent, I kept reading about how you had to play loads of Gibsons to find the right one and I played about 10 of these and none of them were worse than any other.
It played far better than the Gibson Tribute Models.

It is just 'nitro' that can be affected by UV. It's perfectly possible for a pigment that isn't stable under such conditions to change dramatically.
