I actually don't know if it is cheaper, but kabl is my go to.
I'm sure the Kabls are great and I've considered other soldered options, but because my board is fairly experimental and changes regularly, I could really use the flexibility of solderless for quick rewiring to exact length.
I have had George Ls twice in the past and despite being very careful in construction, I just could not get them to be reliable. I know a lot of people rave about them, but they wouldn't work for me.
So, it's with no little trepidation I try the SIS, but with their more solid, screw-in construction, I'm hoping they'll work out okay.
