Not quite ready to move it on yet.  Still want to have the pickup re-wired to allow parallel.  Don't want to lose the Baritone which I really like on this one.  So will need to be a push / pull volume or tone pot, trouble is it's got to go through the F hole as no access from the pickup route.   Sound like a job for you @ICBM :)

Sounds tricky, might take a while. Ten years or so...

    ;)

Seriously - three-way switch for series/baritone/parallel? I think that can be done. Push-pulls are a pain.

  • Those Yamaha SBV basses make my tummy feel funny. In a good way.

Also @ICBM has reignited my Ricky GAS. Shame the company are so dislikable.

Aha… a Big Horn Jazz. I had one of them for a while, in black/black guard.

For anyone else - that's not the official name, just what people call them. I think they were just called a USA Standard Jazz. It's not that the horns are extended, really - they have two extra frets and deeper cutaways so it looks like it. Even though they were the standard model for a while, they weren't popular and now seem quite rare.
