Heading down to Nottingham tomorrow for a course Mon-Fri. Never been before, is there anything on in the evenings if I have free time?

I'm happily not married thank you very much! Not single though.
I don't want to organise anything as I don't know yet if my evenings will be free or if there will be studying to do, so was just wondering if there were any regular nights on I could maybe aim for time allowing.
Be nice to organise summat if I can though.

if you like Americana, The White Buffalo are playing on Wednesday night and then Glenn Hughes is playing Thursday! Both at the Rescue Rooms, which is a great little venue.

Been a while since I was there, but the Bell (on the main square) used to have live jazz every night.

The Tap n Tumbler is where we head for every time we go to Nottingham. It's a spit and sawdust place with a curious, albeit friendly and harmless, clientele! The Rastafarian chap that sits on the back of a bench seat drinking Guinness is the most notable patron.

There as a great tramp who played xylophone in the market square in the 90s. Although he only played 'Oh when the saints' and never made it to the last note- got annoying after a while!!!
