I shall say this only once : RIP Gordon.

 I did love Allo Allo when it first came out, although either it got worse or I changed my tastes, but I still reference it surprisingly often. I saw Gordon interviewed a couple of times on chat shows and he came across as warm and likeable man ( I think he was promoting the stage version of Allo Allo)

My family really enjoyed watching Allo allo when it was on TV. Typical British humour of the time. I've been catching a few episodes recently on night time TV. It was definitely a thing of its time, but I rather enjoyed them from a nostalgic perspective.
