Ah, my bass collection is fine for the mo (Tho I do have some mild GAS for a violin bass)

More importantly, I'm now hunting for the right amp setup - what with the masterplan being to find a band and start gigging bass this year...

I stared lovingly at a Mesa Subway D800 setup in a shop recently, and I'm very tempted by the Bergantino b amp as well... I thoroughly expect to do some serious squinting at bass amps at the guitar show....(and am getting my pennies ready for it).

I went to BETT once. After an hour I had to leave. Nearly hell on earth.

This year it was absolute hell. 

3 days of meetings. 

My feet hurt, my back aches, and my brain has given up.

I've been to BETT twice in 13 years of working in schools IT and have actively avoided it ever since. Last time I lasted for about 3 hrs before I was back on the train. The only good thing was meeting Johnny Ball on the Promethean stand. Legend.

Who do you work for @Bridgehouse ? (feel free to generalise if you need too matey).

I avoided BETT this year too! It was close, as I had a customer that was going to attend, but dropped out last minute.
