Just watching this. Some awesome concert footage.

A question though - all these cinema then arena gigs they’re showing - nothing is obviously miced up - how did they do it in those days? It’s not like the sound is awful - you can hear everything very clearly.

Believe this from someone who was at one of those cinema gigs, you couldn’t hear a thing over the fans screaming. They could’ve been playing anything. Nothing was mic’d up, the vocals went through whatever house PA was already onsite and the guitars and bass just went through their own Vox’s. You could vaguely hear Ringo sometimes and the spoken announcements between songs. I imagine anything that’s on film was either recorded straight off the PA somehow or it was dubbed on afterwards.
