PC Laptop Advice Please!

I need a new laptop, primarily for recording. Can't afford a new one and definitely can't afford a Mac!

So ...... have been using an old HP Elitebook which has been great but is now tired and emotional! Looking on ebay, there are lots of HP 8460/8470 with decent i7 processors and 8GB for around £200 (see below).

My needs are fairly basic - using Cubase 5 with a Focusrite i1820 and a Behringer ADA8000 to give 16 simultaneous tracks (though to be fair I have only used the Focusrite for 8 tracks so far!). I don't use many plugins and will probably continue to mix outside the box to an analogue desk.

So, opinions on the suitability of the following (or any suggestions for something better) gratefully received. And if anyone has a laptop for sale that might do the job .....

My guess is you might have to buy it, see if it works for you and if not return it under the DSR.
