We adopted this 6 year old idiot Malamute back in July. She came with the name Sky, but I call her 'you big sulky twat' most of the time.
She's the furry one, the other one's the wife.

    Macy as a puppy

And her now at 1 and a half

    Right pisshead though...

I love Boxers, alas as I'm away a lot of the of the time, they are too big for my wife to handle and potentially lift into the car if they need to go the vets.

She's actually a cross, no boxer in her. Not sure if you'd ever be able to guess what breed her parents were.

Mother was a fawn Bullmastiff, father a liver and white Springer Spaniel.

Her mother was only 3 when she got pregnant, and shortly after died of lymphoma. She gave birth to two pups, then went into difficulty had to have a cesarean and lost the rest of the litter (I think 4 more). Pippa (mother) was taking steroids right after giving birth so couldn't feed the two, so they had to be hand fed with lactol.

Macy barely survived. The start of this video is literally the night she turned around (mother and father are seen later in the video):

Her brother Hagar makes her look like a right muttley (he's on the right):

Sprocket had her spay last Thursday. The vet warned us that she might be a bit groggy for a day or so. Ha ha. This is her ten minutes after waking up from the anaesthetic, already wanting to go for a walk, or ideally a full-pelt run with as many other dogs as possible.

    Keep her calm, they said.

Don't walk her for more than ten minutes at a time, they said.

I think I could see in their eyes that they knew this wasn't even remotely possible.

Never had a puppy as good as her, really grown up and sensible for her age. Always listening and paying attention to what's going on.

If someone could get that pic to show in a post I'd love them forever and stuff.

Edit: oh done it myself further down, by doing exactly what I done in this post that didn't work, makes sense.

My boxer is tiny, he's just never grown, the one before that was huge.
