Digidelay question

Does anyone know if the Digitech pedal give a decent overall volume boost from the level knob (when used in an fx loop)?

Nope.  The level is for the delay signal only, not the dry signal. Same can be said of the TC Repeater I've got, which is a shame. 

An analogue one that has boost is the Memory Boy Deluxe? Not sure about digital ones to be honest...

Ooo Ooo Ooo the strymon el cap has a 3db boost. Doesn't sound like a lot, but that's a fair ol whack - might be enough.

And, despite me wanting to not admit it, it's easily the best sounding delay I've heard, closely followed by memory boy. No idea how accurate the models are, but it was stunning to hear (bloke in store had it - I'd never heard of strymon at the time!).

I've plumped for a T-Rex Ducktail with my Thomann vouchers. Tap tempo, overall level knob, three different modes, and it isn't massive!
