Yes it's a million miles an hour, no it doesn't matter because he's playing every note like it's his last. He never gets complacent or switches off, he just fucking burns from start to finish. It has so much passion, so much flair, so much energy and it's so fast that at some points, all you can do is just laugh in incredulity. I wish I'd been there.

That keyboard player is really getting on my tits.

I've seen Shawn Lane clips before and just not got them at all, at least I can comprehend this but it just doesn't show a great deal of sensitivity for the original song - getting the recognisable bits out of the way in order to go wibble. Cool live moment rather than something I'd return to. Anyway, got to think about what to cook for tea now rather than distracting myself any longer...tum the tum...
