PRS CE24 Ltd Edition Satin

What's Hot
Got a bit of twinge for one of these PRS CE24 Ltd Edition Satin Grey Fades:

No cash, so getting a slight itch to trade up a guitar...hoepfully it will go away.

Someone, somewhere on Facebook is trying to trade out one of these. Probably one of the PRS groups.

No need to thank me for such high level detail.

    :-)

No. The plastic birds and non US hardware, plus the garish back colour put me off in the end. Not a proper CE as they used to make them, GAS passed, but looking back at those pics...

I agree the CE these days are not a patch on the originals.

But im not keen on any new PRS tbh, I don't like the necks, or the machineheads, and I'm not a big fan of the new pickups either.

They put non USA hardware on the CE's too? I thought that was just on the S2's

Nope - they use them on the new CE's too, along with a simpler top-carve for speed of machining & sanding. You could say they're more of an S1.5

That makes them less appealing price wise then

Shame, because they're some of the best tops in a long time.

I want a full fat PRS with a satin top in a more modern colour finish.

(Basically the full fat Holcomb sig).
