WTB: Peavey Stereo Chorus, pref USA, good condition, mid to late 80s/early 90s model

OK, I can't stretch to a Roland Jazz Chorus and I rather like my Special 130 so am looking for a mid 80s to early 90s Peavey Stereo Chorus.

I'm thinking teal stripe up until the transtube era.

I appreciate these amps are getting on a bit now but I'd like a reasonably clean one rather than something that's been abused to the point of destruction.

@icbm we are at opposite ends of the country but I know you love your Peaveys so if you have any tips on where to turn these up it would be much appreciated :-)

I'm afraid not. I bought an 80's Backstage 30 to scratch my Rickenbacker/Weller itch last year. That's probably what you were thinking.

It may well have been that, things are fuzzy recently.
I'm bloody sure someone had a stereo chorus Peavey for sale though............

EDIT: I'm VERY not good at this.
I clearly need to learn to use the search function as that only took me 2 minutes to find and it sold last may.

Thanks @lento that's a good spot - I had really been thinking about the 2x12 but that might be worth a look.

There is a Stereo Chorus 212 for sale on Gumtree in Liverpool. Probably too far, and I don't know what period that model is from?

Bump: still looking - I have eBay and Gumtree searches set up but if anyone knows of any others (local, facebook, other forums, etc.) please let me know.

I'm London based but can travel a bit for the right amp.

Aside from being a Peavey Special Stereo chorus, it doesn't fit any of your other requirements - but- There's a new one for sale in CC Music in Glasgow. Discounted price as well ; http://www.ccmusicshop.co.uk/product/peavey-special-212-transtube/
