Opinions on the JCM800 2210 please, I just borrowed one!!

I'm ampless at the moment so a friend lent me a marshall jcm800 2 channel combo . It's all original and loaded with g1275's.. He doesn't use it much as he has loads of marshalls. 

I'm interested to know what people think of this amp, and also any info on it. 

My main amp for years was a jcm800 2203 with a ts9 as a clean boost in front. Great sound but nowhere to go for lead boost.

What do people think of the 2210's?? How are people dialing em in??

Can't you just use the crunchy high input style channel and forget about the other? It's not that gain heavy that a roll back of the volume won't get you a nice clean tone.
