Anyone rented gear much ?

I noticed a couple of gear rental sites recently, and actually there are quite a few, but who's renting?

Im thinking stuff like, FX pedals are anything from £2.50 per day upwards, loopers, full pedalboards etc 

Ive never rented any music kit apart from the odd PA

Harris Hire has (in the past) made a goodly amount of money, but todays younguns might be happier with  a 'puter or digital emulations rather than an AC30 or a plexi. I recall a yera or two back they offered some stock for sale but the prices were steep to say the least.
