Yep. You can use it in a few dfferent ways

 -it'll work as a simple amp channel switcher (ie. with just one cable connecting to your amp and no guitar signal running through the pedal - basically it's then just an amp footswitch) 

- It'll work as a standalone true bypass looper, turning on or off any pedals in it's loop and bypassing them all with a click of the switch 

- the clever bit is it can also switch channels and engage the effects loop at the same time so you can go from squeaky clean with no effects on your amp's clean channel to high gain solo dripping in delay on your amp's drive channel with one stomp.
The polarity switch means you can choose which channel the effects loop engages on.
