SOLD - sunburst flame top Gibson ES-335 - £1500

I posted this for sale earlier this year, withdrew it, now it's back up for sale.

Simply put, I live in Paris and the guitar lives in south London; it's not been played or even taken out of its case since March and I can't justify hanging on to it. Especially with Christmas looming.

It's in excellent condition and has never been gigged. From memory the bridge has started tarnishing nicely with age. I've swapped the volume/tone knobs for silver ones (see photos) but the originals will be included as well, along with the original hardshell case, certificate of authenticity etc.

It was made in 2008; the orange label says Memphis. It had a pro setup and some fret levelling work done by famous luthier David Anthony Reid in 2015. It sounds great and is currently strung with d'Addario flatwounds.

I have a guitar box but I'm not keen on the idea of posting this, so it's pretty much collection-only or we can meet up within reason. I'm driving all over the place at Christmas so the guitar will be available as follows:

Wednesday 20 to Saturday 23 December: collection/meet in London
Tuesday 26 to Wednesday 27 December: collection/meet in Lincoln
Thursday 28 December: drive down from Lincoln to Devon
Tuesday 2 to Wednesday 3 January: collection/meet in London

Last bump(?) Some firm interest expressed now. Definitely looking to sell over Christmas period, I don't want to leave it in its case for another couple of months or however long it will be until I'm back in the UK again. 

Also selling a custom Martin HD-28V in the acoustics section for that same reason.

Thanks, there's plenty of interest - rightly so, I think
