NPD - Goldsoundz AU-OD

Picture the scene...sightly squiffy and having convinced myself that I needed a little bit more drive on my pedal board, I got this on Ebay about 2 weeks ago for a ridiculously low price. Other than a recommendation on their fuzz pedal by a friend of mine who worked at Wunjo Guitars, I'd not heard about Goldsoundz at all and there doesn't seem to be much online about them.

I'll post pics later but the pedal only has 2 controls - Volume and Gain - but it has two internal trimpots. I don't have an instruction manual so I've not gone twiddling them just yet but I'm hoping they're some sort of tonal controls as the pedal has some piercing high end that is not playing well with how I usually like to EQ my amp. The gain structure is pretty cool though but if I can't tame that treble, I think this pedal is getting bumped.

Yeah, but it's quite nicely put together (from what I can tell). I built some pedals in a 3 bedroom tenement flat in the west end of Glasgow that were a total disaster so I guess the location doesn't really matter.

Here is a pic of the innards -

Calling @ICBM @4114Effects or even Mr @ThorpyFX if they have time to maybe tell me what's going on inside this wee black box?

    Thanks.

Obviously I can't see what the transistors are, however it looks like a silicon tonebender or a jfet overdrive (assumed to be an OD due to the name)  the trimpots set the voltage to them so that they are operating at the optimum value.
