Hadn't listened to this record in years.
The album came on when I was working on my laptop at home this afternoon - thankfully I was using quality over the ear headphones. I had to stop work, turn the lights off and lie down to listen to it!
I'd forgotten just what an incredible piece of music it is. At times almost overwhelming......totally immersive, I gladly sank into its world. Some shatteringly beautiful songs - Broken Heart, Cool Waves....... 'if you've got to leave, you've got to leave', that fragile voice, its a quasi religious experience.....
It so vividly reminded me of an opiate high I started to get psychosomatic symptoms. Bloody lovely I tells ya.......

Bloody great album
I said maybe.....
"I think I'm in love" is my favourite track.
Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.
Great album, that I've seen performed a few times, always excellent until the last one (Hackney Empire) which was a bit off.
I've got the special edition CD in a pill case.
If you've got that one unopened it's worth a fortune.
unopened multi-disc ones must be rare as anything I should have thought. It came with twelve 3" cds (one per track) each in their own pill bit. Cool as anything.
