Anyone fancy doing a belly and forearm contour on a tele

What's Hot
One of the reasons I want to mutilate this Tele body is that it weighs 9.3lbs!!! And I quite fancy trying out a tele cut like a strat. Also, I'm not looking at spending a fortune on this so if theres anyone who's quite handy at woodwork, and needs a body to practice on, let me know!

I'm based in merseyside but can travel with in reason to drop off and collect.

On a serious note, for the effort, I reckon someone like @GSPBASSES would do you a replacement body with just the right cuts for you to finish, or finished for less hassle than having yours done, considering it would need a refin after the mods....

I bought mine with the cuts in from MJT, they said it was the first one they'd done.

I don't mind doing the refin as I have the nitro and paint for another build I'm doing

A rasp and various grits an sand paper is all you need.  Oh, and a clamp of two, or cheap work mate to hold everything.

I recommend a Japanese saw rasp

Yeh, I tried one of the new American Professional Teles at the First Show the other week. The tummy cut was great. Made it much more comfortable
