Hum Eliminator/Buster type thing that doesn't suck tone

I'm running a fairly cheapo Behringer HD400 thing in my 4CM setup with the Helix to cut down on noise on my o/d channel of the Shiva.

What I noticed at last nights gig while trying to fault find a hum that's got worse is that the HD thingy is sucking my signal somewhat of presence/treble and without it in the signal path sounds much better.

Are there any of these Hum Destroyer things that anyone knows of that are totally transparent or is nature of the beast?

The Lehle P split is pretty transparent. You only need to isolate one of the connections
The ebtech one does exactly what you describe even though some people swear by them
The gig rig humdinger is what I actually use on my main board and it is perfect but not cheap

You could also disconnect the shield from the send return if you are a dab with a soldering iron and this is all you use the cables for

I've not found any issues with the Orchid Transformer Isolator, they do it in single and dual.  I've got two of the singles and they work as they should
