How to delete discussions?

I have three active discussions in the selling section.  One person replied to the 335 one, and I bought his guitar - result!  I would like to keep the Epiphone one open, but delete the 335 one and the 'Looking for a trade' one (since I have sold the stuff I was going to trade).  I'm not very tech-savvy, but I can't find a simple way to delete the conversations.  Can you help?

You can't. Mods only.

It's in the forum rules too - deletion of content will get you banned for life.

However you could flag your own discussions and ask for them to be sunk. I don't know if that happens.

Never seen that happen here.

Happens on Basschat classifieds - mark it sold and it gets locked.

It happens if you repeatedly bump more often than once every 48 hours...

You could edit the title. For example "No longer Looking for ...."

@gibbo666 - We don't delete threads from the classifieds, and deletion of content in there will result in exclusion from the classifieds for a period of time (which is usually dependent upon how much arguing there is afterwards).

Far simpler to read the Classifieds Rules on the topic, and act accordingly
