Out of interest, I'm curious on views about the whole non-reversed/reversed Firebird thing.  Is the general consensus that the original 'reversed' Firebird is the 'proper' way to go and the most desirable and valuable version, or is there love too for 'non-reversed'?

I quite like the n/r but the original is king for me - the shape and neck-through define the the thing. N/r is a different guitar altogether just sharing a name.

The non-reverse is much more conventional-Gibson, but still more or less as awkwardly long - although it does balance better... apart from the 12-string version, which is a shame as that's the one I want .

I think I'm getting a bit contaminated....maybe its the pics of PJ Harvey, but I'm ashamed to say the 3-p/up with trem version (is that the Firebird VII?) is beginning to look less ugly the more I look at it - reverse version only of course!
