Sorry guys that's sold but would also recommend checking out the QSCs.. better than the DXR on my POV!

That seems to be the general consensus mate cheers. I'm thinking I'm going to run one valve amp and one frfr initially a bit like you described here. 

Not it sure if I'll be keeping my strymons yet, I'm hoping to go 100% helix effects wise but will see how it goes before I go for the big sell off.

The 10" in the Yamaha has plenty of bass on tap too. Would like to compare the Yams to the QSCs
