In fact I'm not entirely sure that the 1970s weren't an urban myth. I was there and I still don't quite believe most of it.
So now you just find old Ipads in the bushes instead.

I always assumed it was baked in the sun , and that was why it was white .
I did see one about 5yrs ago , I was so surprised I stopped for a look.
BTW , As a kid I discovered that if you are really careful you can use it as chalk , it was more fun to stamp on though .

Wish it was still like that these days. When I'm strimming the road verges it seems to stay tacky and pungent for days, if not weeks on end, especially when it's all over your clothes and in your teeth.
Bring back white dog poo.
