England were very poor, especially after going a goal ahead. That's the not coming at us excuse out the window.
That said fair play to Iceland, if we had to lose to anyone I'd choose them.

Well. I didn't think we could sink any lower but... I love Roy for engineering Wolves' descent through the leagues after the 5-1 but it's time to go mate. I can't say I'm surprised by the outcome in the end.

I really don't get how good players have been turned into bumbling idiots. What happened to Kane, he couldn't get one pass or shot in vaguely the right direction. Hope Roy goes now, not least for starting Stirling when Rashford can get past defenses on the left.

ITV pundits saying that England suffered because they were under pressure to beat a side from a national with a tiny population.

Do they realise that Germany, France, Spain etc. are all expected to win games as well?

Iceland were great, I don't think England can have any complaints. They were lucky to get the penalty, but that should have been enough. Iceland are well organised side though. They have shown that already, and hopefully will show that again.

Firstly, congratulations to Iceland. They were the best team on the night.
I think that is the worst performance I've ever seen from an England team, and I've seen some terrible performances over so many disappointing years.
