A Yamaha SG1500 for £700. Still regret it, I just needed the money and the neck was too thick for my girly little hands.

A mint condition Hiwatt dr103 head for £600. The buyer from the US sent over a custom made wooden case and then had it shipped back. Wish I'd kept it!

this was back in 2008.  I think i had a £2500 reserve on it.  2 week auction.  slowly crept up to £1800 by day 10 then nothing till a few hours before the end and it just went up and up.

A car that I'd have sold for £300 went for nearly £1.6K ... bonkers.

£4850 for a caravan we had bought for my son to live as the house was too small. Was £1400 or so right up to the last second then shot up. We'd had it 2 years and lost £49 on it. Guy turned up with a large wad of cash and towed it 200 miles back to Newcastle. It was over so quickly we didn't think to count the cash until he had gone. Luckily it was all there.

    My knackered Merc for £1700.

I was diddled by a dealer on this one, but didn't have the heart to do the same to someone else so listed all the faults that the Merc specialist had found (about two grands worth).

It still gives me shivers now, and I definitely went much greyer due to the stress of it all.  A horrible experience.

A kitchen. Three buyers took away the oven, the hob, and the old cupboards. I think we made about £250. It was either that or pay for a skip.
