I used to collect treble boosters - I'll refrain from saying exactly how many I had at my peak for the sake of decency, though. They slam a dirt pedal, particularly a Marshall-voiced one like a treat. Keeley Java was actually my favourite, even though I had a couple of nice vintage ones and rare modern production ones.

Yeah, very good pedal. At that kind of price point, you're looking at a Java, Beano, Squawk, some of the BSM's and Fryers, maybe a used Diaz if you can find one. They're all excellent and tbh, you just need to find the one that mates best with your gear. They'll all do the job handsomely though. The Java just sounded a bit warmer to me, had a bit more balls.

I have the same one and it's great - but works best off batteries for me....

The MI Audio Buff n Boost also does a nice treble boost.

The Fryer series of treble boosters are very good. The touring was Brian May's no.1 booster for a good few years till he went over to KAT boosters. I also have his strap mounted booster and it's very good.

I know I do bang the Pete Cornish drum but trust me- get an ST2. about 300 on ebay- utterly magnifcent with my Jester and BK Tube Drivers and just adds the bite I know you are talking about and that the Kingsley sometimes needs.

It is an EQ too, so you can totally change it- I use it predominatly treble high with a tad of grit.

Gigrig Dan still thinks it's Pete's best ever pedal.
