    Here's mine...

2007 MIJ: it's got new tuners, a Staytrem bridge, Fender AVRI 62 pickups, cloth wiring, CTS 500 Meg pots and a Switchcraft pickup selector. I've removed the rhythm circuit and the upper toggle is now a series/parallel selector. I also changed the pickguard from the horrible brown tort it came with.

Love this guitar and the 500 Meg pots really tame the ice-pick treble through my Twin.

Might put some Mojo pickups in it in the long run and maybe a Spitfire Tort pickguard if I can bring myself to spend that sort of cash on a bit of plastic

So just the wood left then?
    Haha basically!

When I bought it it already had the AVRI pickups in and the upgraded pots.

I put the Staytrem bridge on it as I hated the Mustang bridge and Buzzstop combo it came with. Tuners were a necessity as the high e tuner broke after I'd had it a year. Cloth wiring I did myself just to see if it made any difference (it didn't really!) and because the stock wiring looked like a horrible rat's nest

Good, therefore it will be playable as long as it has 11s on it :-)

I remember back in the late 80's my mate pulled a JM out from under his bed, it was his late dads 60's Fender, I remember thinking ''fuck me that's an ugly guitar'', Id love one now though, well nice.

I had one of the 60s classic series Fender are knocking out now, Made in Mexico but with the AV pickups. Loved the look of it and the sound but found the bridge and general playability a nightmare at times. Would probably go for one of the new pro series If the urge to get one again comes back.
I agree on everything feels slightly to the left. Cool guitars though.

I dig them. The bridge is not to my liking so I'm about the put a staytrem bridge on (only £65), which I've heard good things about.

    Pretty, though!

Love my J Mascis Squier. Think I'd like one of the new pro series ones too.

Repeating from elsewhere due to overwhelming child-like excitement; this in now awaiting my return from work, hopefully in one piece:

Nothing particularly hipster about Jazzmasters now. Everyone plays them these days. If the Jazzmaster has a problem, it's ubiquity. There even seems to be half a dozen Squier JMs to choose from now alone. Not that that's a bad thing.
