While having a pleasant Friday morning watching Aussie football and doing a bit of catch up, I decided it might be a good time to do some restringing etc on guitars that don't see or play too often. I pulled this one out and just realised what a great guitar it is. It's a 92 Custom Plus. I've had it about 9/10 years or so and before that obviously belonged to someone who was meticulous with their gear. Apart from a couple of hints to the age of the thing it's looking good. The reason I have not played it much has always been because when I reach for a custom it's always the 57 RI Black Beauty or my well hammered 76 3 pick up with the original T Tops. Having plugged this thing in I'm realising that the 490R and 498T pick up combo is way better than I remembered when wound up. Anyway I thought I would share a bit of LP Custom joy going into the weekend.

- presumably its just the figured top that's different? - all customs (except special editions eg Silverburst) had gold hardware.
After @Koa's comment re ebony LPC's this is the '76, beat up but plays great. I have a full set of cream plastic from about the same era as the guitar, question is, do I 70's it ? (think Brian Robertson , Peter Frampton ?
