I've got a couple of amps and this is the cheapest, but also the one i reach for first.
I would add that the speaker in the V22 was really good - I thought it would be something you'd need to change, but it isn't. I do think though that a quality set of tubes would make a big difference - it came with Chinese tubes and I suspect the same might be true of the V55. The Bugera tubes are ok, nothing wrong with them per se, but probably more at the budget end.
Head and Matching 2x12 is offered for £175......
@ICBM do you have any experience with these, please?
I don't think they are hand assembled, but they are well put together PCB amps, a friend of mine who does EE has one, and he opened it up to take a look. He said that it's as good as any other amp he has seen.
Can you post images directly into forum posts?
The Bugera website refers to their amps being hand-built ( "Hand-built 55-Watt guitar combo driven by 2 x 6L6 tubes" ) :

There's reference to part PCB and part hand-wiring so there must be at least some hand assembly. What's very interesting is that Bugera make all their own components and their own speakers too!:

Also, I believe all Bugera amps come with a 3 yr manufacturer's warranty as standard!
They seem very good and well liked and I would wish them well in the market place IF they stopped cloning 'OUR' designs!!
