i acquired a blood+custard TV12 a few years ago but it had been painted black and needed work, plus i was scared of the live chassis, wish i'd kept it now...
My oldest bit of gear is my 1966 Fender Electric XII that I bought in 1992 for £500. It's a bit of a beater in original faded-out sunburst. I got it for two reasons; firstly it was cheaper and easier to play than a Rickenbacker and secondly, I couldn't find a Charvel Surfcaster 12. So pleased that I got the Fender!
I used to have a WEM Copicat from 1962 but that was rather foolishly sold a few years back.
In other gear I have a Leslie 18 rotary cab from between '68 to '72 and a pair of 1970's silver-faced Selmer Treble & Bass sv 50s.
Oh, and a Hohner Organa 12 reed organ which could be from the 60's
I used to regularly loan my Mum's Dad's older wooden recorder, which I would guess is 1920s, but I'm not exactly a big recorder player these days.
Actually... the one in my avatar. Barely use it. Might sell it to be fair.
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself
*An Official Foo-Approved guitarist since Sept 2023.
Got it around 2002, maybe.
I think I payed €400 cause the neck is twisted and the truss rod broke.

And yes - it's wonderful!
