SOLD - 03 Audi A6 2.5 TDI
What's Hot
I bought this car a few years ago from
@TTony of this parish (who owned it from new).
It's been a brilliant car for me, but I now commute to work by train so I don't need two cars any more.
The car is an Audi A6 Saloon 2.5 V6 Diesel Saloon in SE trim colour is metallic blue.
It is an 03 reg and has 185k miles on the clock, but it's rock solid mechanically and passed it's MOT which it has until April next year.
It's the ideal car for wafting about on the motorway and I've driven it from the Lake District to Suffolk multiple times without a single back twinge. It has an insanely massive boot and can easily take a family of 4 for a weeks holiday including push chairs etc.
As it's a few years old it has a few issues to be aware of: Plastic front grill has a crack from being hit by a bird, front wheel arches have a little bit of rust, one of the rear arches has a paint scrape, central locking doesn't work (keys only) and nor does the air con (fans and heaters are fine). Many of these things are probably cheap and simple fixes, but as it's been my commuting workhorse I haven't fixed anything cosmetic. Everything mechanical has been well looked after and it's recently had an oil change.
I've also upgraded the hifi to a really nice Kenwood with bluetooth, mp3, etc and it sounds awesome. (I have the old unit if you wish to return it to stock).
Suggested price for a car of it's age and condition is £1,200, but I would like £800 for a quick sale. (I've got to renew the insurance next month).
I'll whack some pics up shortly (let me know if you are interested and I'll get it sorted quicker).
Comments
Hope you've given it a bit of pre-sale wash??

Albeit with more rust than I remember it having ...
You can always buy it back and mount it on a plinth in your garden
