I need to do more testing as I'm using it on a female singer with a quiet voice who happens to stand right in front of the drum kit; it sounds good, but seems to pick up way more of the drums on a packed stage than my '58s or D5s.
Anyone recommend a mic that is more sensitive close in and that will reject drums better?

I saw you were selling those, and considered making you an offer but, even thought they're good all-rounders, I decided to get more specialist mics.
I've actually ended up with a load of Sennheiser - e902 for kick, e904 for toms, e906/e609 for guitars + general instruments. I'm currently using a '57 on snare, although might try something else at some stage, eg. Beyer M201 or something, and I generally use '58s for vocals - there are better, but they're still great mics in most situations.

I've got the e902; great kick mic. For toms I use older Audio Technica ATM53 which they've just started re-issuing. I've two hence the '57 sale. Great mics.
