A few months back I was in search of a 335 and I eventually managed to snag a beauty - Rich Robinson signature model (498 of 500). When it arrived (via DHL) I opened it up to find the neck was snapped just below the headstock.
Long story short...eventually the insurance company paid out in full under the condition that they collect the guitar and destroy it. As in, throw it in an incinerator and burn it.
Moral of the story. Always collect your guitars in person and insurance companies are heartless bastards with no appreciation of limited edition guitars.

I feel your pain though - That's one of the guitars I'd most like to own.
Been uploading old tracks I recorded ages ago and hopefully some new noodles here.

Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!
Is it *actually* getting destroyed or is this someone in the office spotting an opportunity to get themselves a bargain-basement guitar?
Damn that's a fine instrument. I'm guessing you'll want a lot more than i paid for the RR though!
